Norman M. Phipps
CEO, CFO and Executive Director
Norm joined BSG as CFO in 2003. He brings over 25 years of executive experience to the Company. Prior to joining BSG, Norm was with Avery Communications, Inc., one of four predecessor companies that joined together in December 2003 to form Billing Services Group. Norm's prior experience includes senior management and operational positions at a communications equipment manufacturer in which Norm sold a controlling interest to a NYSE-listed company in 2000. Norm has also run a private investment fund and served in senior management positions at CIBC World Markets and Citicorp, where he was responsible for lending or investing at all levels of the capital structure in leveraged credits.
After eight years of litigation practice, Bridget Mimari joined BSG as General Counsel. In her capacity Bridget oversees the legal, regulatory, compliance and LEC relations affairs for the company. Originally from San Antonio, Texas, Bridget earned a B.A. in Political Science from Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas before attending law school at South Texas College of Law.
VP of Development
Craig joined BSG in 1997. He brings over 20 years of both IT and telecommunications experience to the Company. Craig started his career with Southwestern Bell Telephone in 1987 in their CRIS Billing group, where he led efforts to revitalize their systems and implement Invoice Billing. He subsequently worked for Sprint Long Distance and a competitor of BSG where he helped them improve their billing systems and processes. Craig also has experience working with standards bodies and has championed many issues to better processes and technologies. During Craig’s tenure, he has been responsible for transitioning BSG’s legacy mainframe environments to lower cost open source technologies, as well as implementing many new product lines.
VP of Client Services
As the Vice President of Client Services, Ms. DeSilva is responsible for the management of Client Relations and Customer Service for both the LEC clearing and VoiceLog third party verification business divisions. With more than 17 years of experience with BSG, Ms. DeSilva has held several integral positions throughout her tenure with the company. Ms. DeSilva manages the day-to-day operations of the Client Services team, to include screening of new clients and services, the customer implementation process and client relationship management. In addition to her account management responsibilities, she also manages all call center operations in support of both the LEC clearing and VoiceLog business units.
