How does the Age Verification module work?
A consumer makes a purchase from your web site and enters the mobile phone number to be billed. You, the merchant, request specific identity/age verification data from the consumer and send that to Bill2Phone Mobile using the Application Programming Interfaces (APIs). Bill2Phone Mobile responds with a pass/fail response for over/under an age limit. If successful, the merchant completes the sale. If unsuccessful, the merchant can take appropriate actions which can include one or many of the following:
• Deny the purchase
• Redirect the consumer to age appropriate materials or substitutes
• Suggest alternative purchases
Does Bill2Phone Mobile support recurring billing?
Yes, Bill2Phone Mobile enables you to establish a recurring billing record. The merchant has the ability to set how often a bill is sent (the periodicity), for how long a bill should be sent (duration), the amount that should be transacted, a stop point in the future, a final billing amount and a start billing amount. Bill2Phone process the transaction as you indicate and should there be an issue with the transaction, retries a set number of times. In the meantime, there are alerts and BC WebTrack reports that will notify you of account status.
